Because of the HomePod’s age—and with the possibility of a new model on the horizon—I initially hesitated to send it in. I’m very glad I ultimately decided to do so! I was just about to toss my 1st Gen HomePod because I couldn't get it to boot (despite trying every trick I could find online). I happened to find minn-tech.com when googling about recycling my HomePod. I'm so glad I found them! The process was super easy. I opted to have them send me a box; all I had to do was pack-up my HomePod, attach the label they sent, and take it to the Post Office. Not long after, I got an email that they had received my HomePod and could fix it. I also opted to have the parts that fail the most often replaced while they had it there. Not long after that, I got my HomePod back in the mail. It's better than brand new! It was well worth the price of the repair, and I wish them much success, as I have 5 other 1st Gen HomePods that may end up needing their services! Thank you, minn-tech. You saved my HomePod from the landfill and brought it back to life.

When compared to other companies that offer the same repair services, Minn-Tech is in a class above and beyond all others. There is another “company” that streams its repairs on “YouTube” but it is slow and/or unresponsive to requests. Minn-Tech was the exact opposite! All of my questions were answered within one business day or less and the total turn around time from placing the order to receiving my repaired HomePod(s) was about 1.5 weeks. Their work is so good that you are left to wonder if they ever even dismantled your HomePod to repair it or did they just wave a magic wand over it. I sent them 5 HomePods with various issues (totally dead/no power or flashing volume lights) and now my home is filled with the awesome sound that comes from these speakers. Thanks to Minn-Tech for stepping up and providing an awesome service that should be the standard for all other companies attempting to do the same. They are beyond 5-Stars and I would use them again without question.

After sending in my first HomePod of a pair with an issue and being blown away by the service, I sent my other HomePod in for preventive maintenance. I received he best communication I’ve had from any maintenance/repair company. They worked on it immediately and it was in the mail back to me after their overnight testing. I agree with other reviews that the bass is better, plus with replacement of some electronic parts known to cause problems, I am likely good for a long time. Highly recommended!

I was so skeptical, but hey $69 on the off-chance that they fix my dearly departed HomePod? Why not? Free shipping from home to back home. Turned the repair around in a couple of days. Minn-Tech provides a needed service for those that have various HomePod issues, and they do so with a very high level of prompt customer service that conveys a thorough knowledge of the technology, along with a personal approach that is rare in business these days. My original HomePod had the "Death Fart" issue along with clicking and popping noises. Not only did they fix these issues but they preemptively replaced a different part that is a known issue FOR FREE. No hard sell or upcharge, they just fixed it. I wish I had found Minn-Tech sooner, as I have been dealing with the issues for years. They also sell refurbished HomePods at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
