I stumbled across about this service. I have held on to my HomePod for over a couple years now because of the + – volume button error. I figured it had to be software related, as this error started after my HomePods updated to a new firmware version. For $80, which included shipping back and forth, this was well worth it, otherwise I just had a bookend. I am glad I held on to my Original HomePod and finally found solution. I’m so happy to have my HomePod working again so that I can have my stereo pair set up again. Thank you!

Amazing experience! Everything was seamless from ordering the delivery box with shipping label. Arrived on time as expected. When I sent it back it and then received it, they confirmed via email and gave even personal touches to let me know it was a human on the other side :). Got fixed within one day, and sent back! My 1st gen HomePod was flashing and was stuck after a software update. I brought it to Apple and they told me there nothing they could do. It was too old to qualify for a replacement and they don’t repair them anymore. They essentially told me to throw it away and purchase another one. Minn-Tech saved the day! I shipped it out and a few days later I got notice that it was on its way back. I couldn’t believe it. It works just as good as new again! Thank you so much!!

I have made a TikTok review to make sure EVERYONE knows about Minn-Tech. It upsets me that there is almost no information about this failure on the internet and that people like Minn Tech doesn’t have a lot of presence on social media -but I get it. It isn’t for everyone, that’s why I made a 4 min review talking about my problem and hopefully it reaches the right audience. I am so grateful I found him, my first gen HomePod is working amazingly well after this issue. I give you 5 starts cuz that’s the max, but I’d give you 100,000!!! Thank you!!!

Found via a google review, sent in BOTH my old door stops (because that’s what they were good for since they both went pop within a week of each other) and Minn-Tech did a brilliant job - new diodes and caps in both, and a new logic board in one - and I think they cleaned them both too. What an AMAZING service. Glad to have my stereo pair back in operation. Amazing service, and less in the landfill. Brilliant work. Five stars, no notes, would do again.

Two day shipping was fast! Packaging was very good. HomePod works perfectly. Was able to sync it to my iPhone immediately out of the box. Device was clean, no cracks or scuffs, basically brand new.
