I recently had my Apple HomePod repaired by Minn-Tech, and I could not be more satisfied with the experience. From start to finish, their service was exceptional. They clearly communicated the work being done, including a full system restore, firmware refresh, and extensive overnight bench testing. What really stood out was their attention to detail and proactive approach. In addition to fixing the primary issue, they identified and replaced known failure components on the amplifier board, including a Schottky diode and aging capacitors, to prevent future problems. The HomePod was returned fully functional, updated, and performing like new. It is rare to find a repair service that combines technical expertise, transparency, and genuine care for long-term reliability. I highly recommend Minn-Tech to anyone needing specialized electronics repair, particularly for Apple HomePods. Their level of professionalism and quality of work is outstanding, and I only wish more vendors operated with this level of integrity and customer service.

When compared to other companies that offer the same repair services, Minn-Tech is in a class above and beyond all others. There is another “company” that streams its repairs on “YouTube” but it is slow and/or unresponsive to requests. Minn-Tech was the exact opposite! All of my questions were answered within one business day or less and the total turn around time from placing the order to receiving my repaired HomePod(s) was about 1.5 weeks. Their work is so good that you are left to wonder if they ever even dismantled your HomePod to repair it or did they just wave a magic wand over it. I sent them 5 HomePods with various issues (totally dead/no power or flashing volume lights) and now my home is filled with the awesome sound that comes from these speakers. Thanks to Minn-Tech for stepping up and providing an awesome service that should be the standard for all other companies attempting to do the same. They are beyond 5-Stars and I would use them again without question.

After sending in my first HomePod of a pair with an issue and being blown away by the service, I sent my other HomePod in for preventive maintenance. I received he best communication I’ve had from any maintenance/repair company. They worked on it immediately and it was in the mail back to me after their overnight testing. I agree with other reviews that the bass is better, plus with replacement of some electronic parts known to cause problems, I am likely good for a long time. Highly recommended!

It was worth paying for the shipping box, fast service too. For some reason I just like the sound of my Gen 1 HomePod more than Gen2, and it would have costed a lot more to fix at Apple if they would even do it (they don't). Happy to have a working device again

In this day and age of internet rip-offs and the corporate world's doing everything more cheaply while charging higher and higher prices, it is more than refreshing to find a company that provides a great service at a very reasonable price. Minn-Tech repaired my HomePod exactly the way they advertised that they would, and I could not be more pleased than I am. They paid the postage both ways, repaired my dead, no power HomePod. and returned it to me all within a week's time . . . all for only $69.00 ! You will not be able to find a better deal than this. It now works great and sounds better than ever. I have four other HomePods; and, if any of them fail, I will be sending them to Minn-Tech for repairs. Quick and convenient service to fix what would otherwise have become e-waste and gone to the landfill. I've been using it for a couple of weeks since Minn-Tech fixed my 1st gen HomePod and it works and sounds just as good as new. Well worth the cost of the repair, especially since it is the fraction of the cost of a new HomePod!

I have made a TikTok review to make sure EVERYONE knows about Minn-Tech. It upsets me that there is almost no information about this failure on the internet and that people like Minn Tech doesn’t have a lot of presence on social media -but I get it. It isn’t for everyone, that’s why I made a 4 min review talking about my problem and hopefully it reaches the right audience.
