It was worth paying for the shipping box, fast service too. For some reason I just like the sound of my Gen 1 HomePod more than Gen2, and it would have costed a lot more to fix at Apple if they would even do it (they don't). Happy to have a working device again

If you know anything about the HomePod 1, you know they are a nightmare to repair. I honestly don't know who else could have done a better job. The whole process was incredibly smooth—perfect communication and he had the issue confirmed and fixed in just one day. Everything was exactly as promised; no surprises and the cost was spot-on with the original quote. What really impressed me was that he even went ahead and fixed a few other potential issues pre-emptively without charging me extra. This is how you do it people. This whole process is great. The service is clearly described. I shipped my HomePod to them on a Tuesday and had it back in working order by Friday. I was so skeptical, but hey $69 on the off-chance that they fix my dearly departed HomePod? Why not? Free shipping from home to back home. Turned the repair around in a couple of days. They actually answer the phone and return phone messages. Their service is great - delivered as promised. I had the woofer replaced to address a capacitor noise that would sound every so often when the speakers weren't in use.

Recently had a HomePod repaired. This is my other HP for preventative service! I’m really pleased with the thorough service and full communication AND complete tracking all the way! I am so happy I stumbled about this service. I have held on to my HomePod for over a year now because of the + - volume button error. I figured it had to be software related, as this error started after my other HomePods updated to a new version overnight. For $50, including shipping back and forth, this was well worth it!
