I own five HomePods, two of which required repair. The first would not power up and the second had the "Death Fart" issue. I sent both units in for repair. The units were sent on a Friday and by the following Thursday were back with me, having been repaired and working perfectly. I am grateful for the service provided by Fuat and his team at Minn-Tech, a service I highly recommend. I am now keeping my fingers crossed that my other three HomePods do not stop working, but if they do, I know where I will send them to be repaired - Minn Tech. Thank you. West

OMG! I am absolutely delighted at the OUTSTANDING support and service for my out of warranty original Apple HomePod 1st generation! I purchased two of these the minute Apple enabled stereo pairing and never used them with Apple Music but as soon as I decided to use them together with a workaround app called Airfoil, I was able to use the HomePods with other audio sources. Then, one HomePod just died. It sat for almost two years just dead. Apple just stopped support and manufacturing of HomePod 1st gen. To get out of warranty support was almost foolish. Then, I found Minn-Tech!!! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!! The Best service! And Better support than Apple itself!! Apple just dropped the bomb on 1st gen then, years later introduced 2nd gen that are not compatible with the 1st gen! WTH? Minn-Tech brought my 1st Gen back to life in DAYS!!! I am so blown-away at the Better-than-AppleCare service of my HomePod 1st gen even when it was in-warranty!! (Shhh. Don't tell anybody but I know Apple product support better than many... 17+ years experience!) Minn-Tech service I would recommend to ANYONE I know having HomePod issues out of warranty. I would recommend in-warranty but let Apple handle that part (just get their AppleCare+). When that ends... Get to Minn-Tech, ASAP!

This is how you do it people. This whole process is great. The service is clearly described. I shipped my HomePod to them on a Tuesday and had it back in working order by Friday. They communicated throughout the process, and even went above and beyond the simple repair. If you’ve got a “dead” HomePod, look no more.

They actually answer the phone and return phone messages. Their service is great - delivered as promised. I had the woofer replaced to address a capacitor noise that would sound every so often when the speakers weren't in use.

I added a refurbished Gen 1 to my bedroom and absolutely love it. It’s great for listening to low volume soft music before bedtime. These are great quality speakers for the price.

What a clutch find! My HomePod was flashing the volume buttons and I thought it was the end of the line for it. I found minn-tech after doing some research online about how to fix the issue and these guys did not disappoint. Sent my HomePod out they let me know what was wrong with it (eroded node, from oxidation) corrected my issue and sent my HomePod right back.(Took a week roughly all together. I sent out my HomePod on a Monday from FL to MN it got to them Friday they had it shipped back out on a Monday and I got it back Thursday) . A $60 fix for a speaker I spent $300 on was well beyond worth it for me! If you are having any issues with your HomePod take it from me do not hesitate to use these guys. I NEVER EVER write reviews but these guys did right I had to leave them a review and I hope this helps someone out there who is searching on how to fix their HomePod look no further you’ve found your answer. My HomePod had the "Death Fart" issue - it started off now and then, but became much more frequent like clockwork. Minn-Tech to the rescue! The whole repair process was very streamlined and easy, with shipping labels and everything. Turn-around time was also very quick! My HomePod was returned clean and without any scuffs from the process. And most importantly - it sounds great and no longer startles me with full-volume alien fart attack sounds! I have full confidence that this HomePod will continue operating great for many years to come now that these known-problematic components have been replaced.
