Minn-Tech does it again! This my second HomePod they bring back to life. I was affected by the death fart issue on my first HomePod and I’m happy to report that it is now working better than ever. This company was great! I have a first generation HomePod that had been randomly making loud pops and eventually one day, it was completely dead and wouldn’t power on. I started looking for a repair shop locally because I didn’t really wanna ship my HomePod off, but there was no one here in Kansas City that I felt was competent enough to complete the repair. Prior to submitting my repair, I called and was surprised to actually talk to a live human being, who answered all the questions I had. I shipped my HomePod off on a Tuesday afternoon and had it back the following Monday afternoon completely repaired. My HomePod is now back to working like it did when it was brand new and the care they took with disassembly, repair, reassembly, and shipping my unit back is phenomenal. You would never be able to tell that it had been disassembled and repaired by looking at it. I would definitely recommend Minn-Tech if you’ve got a dead HomePod.

I'm so glad I had Minn-Tech repair my failed HomePod. I took it to the Apple Store, they said it's so old I might as well buy a new one. I searched and found Minn-Tech's video for how to repair. The video is careful and patient and it showed me: 1) it's too hard to do myself, 2) I trust Minn-Tech to do it. And, their service is so fast and the communication is so good that having them repair it was the right choice.

I stumbled across about this service. I have held on to my HomePod for over a couple years now because of the + – volume button error. I figured it had to be software related, as this error started after my HomePods updated to a new firmware version. For $80, which included shipping back and forth, this was well worth it, otherwise I just had a bookend. I am glad I held on to my Original HomePod and finally found solution.
