If you know anything about the HomePod 1, you know they are a nightmare to repair. I honestly don't know who else could have done a better job. The whole process was incredibly smooth—perfect communication and he had the issue confirmed and fixed in just one day. Everything was exactly as promised; no surprises and the cost was spot-on with the original quote. What really impressed me was that he even went ahead and fixed a few other potential issues pre-emptively without charging me extra. He’s clearly a pro who knows these devices inside and out, but he’s also just a really honest guy to do business with. I just got it back today and it’s perfect. Cannot express how completely satisfied I am with the service on my dead, first generation HomePod! The local Apple repair shop wanted $300 to repair it, more than the cost of a new HomePod! I searched YouTube videos to perhaps repair it myself and found an instructional video showing the replacement of a diode. It was too much for me to take on, and over an hour and a half of work. So glad I found Minn-Tech. Not only did they replace the diode, they also replaced other components to ensure a long life. It sounds great again! Very reasonable price and quick turnaround. Don’t buy new, have Minn-Tech repair yours for less than a Homepod Mini and enjoy the HomePod’s full, rich sound!

Quick and convenient service to fix what would otherwise have become e-waste and gone to the landfill. I've been using it for a couple of weeks since Minn-Tech fixed my 1st gen HomePod and it works and sounds just as good as new.
