This was my first experience with repairing HomePod or with Minn-Tech. The experience was excellent! They provided good shipping materials, clear and timely communication throughout the exchange process, and they repair and replaced a number of components on the device, which now works perfectly. I'd recommend them without reservation.

I have the first Gen HomePod they still sound amazing until a hardware failure cause a software update that rendered my HomePod inoperable. Fast, professional, and convenient. I have made a TikTok review to make sure EVERYONE knows about Minn-Tech. It upsets me that there is almost no information about this failure on the internet and that people like Minn Tech doesn’t have a lot of presence on social media -but I get it. It isn’t for everyone, that’s why I made a 4 min review talking about my problem and hopefully it reaches the right audience. I am so grateful I found him, my first gen HomePod is working amazingly well after this issue. I give you 5 starts cuz that’s the max, but I’d give you 100,000!!! Thank you!!!

Found via a google review, sent in BOTH my old door stops (because that’s what they were good for since they both went pop within a week of each other) and Minn-Tech did a brilliant job - new diodes and caps in both, and a new logic board in one - and I think they cleaned them both too. What an AMAZING service. Glad to have my stereo pair back in operation. Amazing service, and less in the landfill. Brilliant work. Five stars, no notes, would do again.

EXCELLENT, WOW, FANTASTIC WOULD DEFINITELY USE AGAIN!!! My son's first generation HomePod was dead. Apple wants $275 to fix, might as well buy a new one. Googled the symptoms, saw YouTube videos on how to fix, honestly I would never be able to put it back together on first try, not to mention buying the right tools. Googled repairs in my area (Chicago suburbs), nothing. Came across Minn-Tech, what a find. For $69 (including shipping both ways!), Minn-Tech fixed the no power issue and replaced four ceramic DC filter capacitors as a preventive measure at no additional charge! Sent the HomePod on Tuesday 10/29 and was just delivered today, Monday 11/4. Works perfectly. Couldn't ask for a better result. Thank you Minn-Tech!!! My family has 7 other first gen HomePods, needless to say I've booked marked Minn-Tech. THANK YOU!!!

After moving to a new place, one of my HomePods wouldn't turn on and I thought the only option would be to buy a new one... But these guys fixed it in no time, and I found it extra handy that they provide a shipping label. Cannot recommend them enough!

Minn-Tech provided a fantastic service experience for repairing worn out capacitors on my 1st-gen HomePods. The whole process took less than a week including shipping both ways, and the fee was very reasonable given alternatives. I would use Minn-Tech again for this repair without hesitation.

Two day shipping was fast! Packaging was very good. HomePod works perfectly. Was able to sync it to my iPhone immediately out of the box. Device was clean, no cracks or scuffs, basically brand new.
