Description

HomePod bass issues may stem from a number of malfunctions. Most obviously, it can be from the woofer malfunction, usually requiring the woofer to be replaced with an operational one from another HomePod. There is no off-the-shelf replacement options that we’re aware of. Also, it may be caused by malfunctioning ceramic capacitors, or another shorted resistor or similar component on the amplified board. This service requires a bit more involve diagnostics and can vary in cost based on the total replaced components. In addition, we bolster the padding between the subwoofer and the support frame as well as the woofer and the top ring to stem any potential rattles that may be caused due to aging rubber grommets that anchor the woofer to the frame. We use a high-density 3M foam tape for this additional padding, which is offered to you, our valued customer, as a complementary service at no additional charge.   1. YOU SHIP YOUR HOMEPOD TO US: We send you either a shipping box (with a return shipping label inside), or email you a prepaid shipping label, depending on your choice. If we email a label, a QR code will be sent in the same email. If you do not want to print your own label, you can use this QR code at the US Postal Service office. They will print and apply the label for you at the counter for you for free. You use this label to ship your HomePod in a box, delivered to a US Post Office. 
  2. WE DIAGNOSE AND FIX YOUR NON-BOOTABLE OR DEAD HOMEPOD: We will fix your HomePod within 2 business days, reset your HomePod to test connectivity, update its firmware/software to the latest version from Apple, and reset it to get it ready to be paired again with your network.
  3. WE SHIP YOUR FULLY REPAIRED HOMEPOD BACK TO YOU: We will ship your HomePod back you with a tracking number.
