HomePod Spinning Light Endless Bootloops Repair Service

Description

HomePod Spinning Light – Original Apple HomePod Endless White Spinning Wheel Light Bootloops

If you have a HomePod with a spinning light that is stuck in this boot loop and never fully boots, this service is for you.

Occasionally, an Apple HomePod 1st Gen (Model: A1639, MPN: MQHV2LL/A or MQHW2LL/A) shows symptoms of spinning top white LED lights that continue endlessly in a boot loop yet fails to boot and connect.

This symptom might happen due to a hardware problem in the logic board, it may also happen after a failed software update attempt. It is a rather common issue that can render the device unusable. We will diagnose the issue first, and conduct the necessary repairs. We will not ask you to pay more if it turns to be a hardware issue. Once we verify the symptom, your payment covers the repair regardless of the root cause. We take that risk, so you will not be asked to pay more.

You can now also request our hardware maintenance service to future-proof your HomePod against no-power and death farts, which is common with the 1st Generation HomePods as an add-on service option. Before adding the service to your cart, check the box for this option if you’d like us to replace the Schottky diode (that frequently fails, causing no-power issues) and the 4 capacitors (that commonly fail over time, causing death farts).

Our Expert HomePod Repair Process for the endless spinning status light bootloops include:

  1. Free two-way USPS shipping.
  2. HomePod Diagnostics: We first perform a complete diagnostic check to determine whether the issue is due to faulty software. If it is not due to software, we will replace the logic board with a working, original replacement.
  3. Operating System/Firmware Reinstallation: Our team is trained in this software and hardware service, which can fix common HomePod errors and restore full functionality.
  4. Post-Repair Testing: After the reinstallation, we conduct a thorough HomePod functionality test to ensure it’s back to normal.

Free mail-in mail-out USPS shipping

We strive for your convenience by providing worry-free, prepaid US Postal Service shipping. This provides multiple benefits to you:

  • We handle the shipping labels for you, and pay for shipping. This way, we can pass on the savings from our competitive USPS commercial shipping rates to you. Retail shipping prices are much higher and most of our customers do not have commercial shipping rates, increasing the total cost of shipping 7+ pound HomePods back and forth.
  • We reduce potential shipping errors, because we handle everything electronically and addresses come directly from our system.
  • It is prepaid, so you do not need to worry about any payments.
  • United States Postal Service is widely available throughout the US.
  • Shipment tracking is available and provided, so both you and us can see where your HomePod is and when it is delivered.

Please see our video on how we perform this service on our YouTube channel and let us know if you have any questions or comments.

My stereo pair of HomePods (1st Gen) died during an Apple update from the Home app. A lot of Googling gave me some ideas, but most said the cause was hopeless. I was able to get a factory reset on one of the pair, but not the other. So I just ordered a pair of 2nd Gen speakers, feeling kinda ripped off as I know the old pair wasn’t damaged in any physical way. I kept the bad pod plugged in and kept trying to reset it. No luck. I took the good pod, put it in the laundry room and, happily, loved having good music in there. So much that I went to eBay to find a companion speaker of the 1st generation. Very high prices for used equipment, some that could possibly not work. But … here’s the good part … my eBay search also included a posting about an inexpensive repair. I was intrigued, but cautious. Seemed to good to be true. I looked for the name of the company who listed it and that brought me here to the Minn-Tech site. I looked at all the possible problems that were repairable and found the exact diagnosis: Spinning Light Endless Bootloops. It felt great to have someone in the online space that felt my pain. And, a huge plus, it was something that Minn-Tech knew how to fix. So here I am. A happy customer. The repair was a little over $50 and for an extra $15 a postage paid shipping box was sent to me. Now, only one week later … I have the most awesome stereo and can rock out while folding towels and delicates. Thanks, Minn-Tech, for making my day, week, and years to come.

How we help with your HomePod problems

This super-convenient mail-in repair service for your non-bootable or dead HomePod works in three easy steps:

  1. YOU PLACE AN ORDER. Within 24 hours:

    (a) We email your prepaid shipping box to the email on your order. If you ordered via “Apple Pay” or “Google Pay” you need not worry about your email address, it is included in your order automatically.
    (b) OR, for an additional $10 (or $15 for some services), we will ship an emtpy homepod box with your prepaid return shipping label inside. Just check the box right above the “Add to Cart” button on each service offering page.

  2. SHIP YOUR HOMEPOD TO US:

    (a) If you did NOT order an empty box from us, pack your HomePod in a suitable shipping box with ample padding. Print out the shipping label we emailed you, and apply it on your own box.  If you do not want to print your own label, you can use the QR code we emailed with your prepaid shipping label at the US Postal Service office. Show them the QR code and they will print the label for you at the counter for free. You still need to pack the HomePod, they will only print the label, not pack the HomePod for you.
    (b) If you added an empty shipping box from us into your order, you will find your prepaid return shipping label inside the box. Just place your HomePod in the empty HomePod box, tape up the box, and apply the prepaid return label over the existing label.
Take your box to a US Postal Service station or drop it in a suitable US Postal Service mailbox, or schedule a pickup for your box.

  3. WE DIAGNOSE AND FIX YOUR HOMEPOD, AND SHIP IT BACK TO YOU FOR FREE: We will fix your HomePod within 2 business days, reset your HomePod to test connectivity, update its firmware/software to the latest version from Apple, and reset it to get it ready to be paired again with your network. If your HomePod passes the benchtests, we will ship your HomePod back you with a tracking number.
